Python Job: Python Support

Dellent Consulting is a Portuguese consulting, technology services and outsourcing company, focused mainly on IT and Telecommunication services that connect the best talents to the best projects.

Within our client reconciliation department, the successful candidate shall make the link between Business teams, Reconciliation teams and IT teams.

We are looking for a Python Support for our team in Porto. In this position, you will provide technical support, educate Data Science and Python developers, and contribute to platforms management activities.

Main activities:

• Build a strong relationship with development teams to understand the code, its dependencies, and the infrastructure on which it runs;
• Provide technical support, guidance and educate end users;
• Python development;
• Scripting development;
• Produce high value documentation (design documentation, administration guide, deployment guide) ;
• Work with platform Admin Team on platform monitoring and maintenance.

Technical skills required:

• Proficiency in Python development;
• Knowledge and exposure of Container technology and orchestration Docker, Kubernetes;
• Experience with REST API (REST/JSON);
• Experience in Web development. HTML, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks;
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and tools such as Ansible, Elasticsearch, Grafana;
• Strong understanding and experience operating in an agile development environment.

• Excellent attention to detail;
• Ability to work with international locations;
• Strong team spirit;
• Excellent communication skills (spoken & written);
• English (B2 Level);
• French is a plus.
